Alexander Daniels Finance Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic and growing international organisation to recruit a hands-on Management Accountant in Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team, taking ownership of core accounting and transactional processes across multiple business units. The role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently while collaborating with global stakeholders.
You will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, transactional finance, and business partnering, helping ensure finance operations are accurate, efficient, and consistently delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts)
Own the month-end and year-end close process, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local statutory requirements
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
Oversee end-to-end transactional processes
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
Act as the primary finance contact for assigned business units and collaborate with stakeholders across the UK and internationally
Provide reporting and insights to support operational decision-making
Review financial transactions to ensure correct allocation and treatment
Verify intercompany transactions
Support external audits and respond to audit queries
Assist with tax reporting and compliance requirements
Identify and implement process improvements across finance operations
Drive efficiencies in reporting and workflows
Proactively resolve issues and maintain strong financial controls
Essential
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
AAT qualified or ACCA/ CIMA studier
Circa 5+ years' in a similar finance role
Strong experience with and management accounts preparation
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in a complex or multi-entity environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
ERP system experience (Dynamics 365 desirable)
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience working with intercompany transactions and multi-currency environments
Desirable
Additional language skills (e.g. Polish)
Knowledge of international accounting standards or local GAAP variations
Experience working with outsourced or offshore finance teams
Experience improving financial processes or systems
