Management Accountant Location: London Working Pattern: Hybrid (WFH Every Friday) Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment With A Strong Chance To Go Permanent Salary: Circa £50,000 (Equivalent) Start Date: Immediate Start Required About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a leading Media company based in London on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who can take ownership of the monthly management accounts process from start to finish and make an immediate impact within a busy finance team. Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts from start to finish

Month-end close, including accruals, prepayments and journals

Balance sheet reconciliations

Variance analysis and commentary

Preparation and submission of VAT returns

Cash flow reporting and forecasting

Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities

Business partnering with key stakeholders across the business

Assisting with audit requirements and year-end processes

Identifying and implementing process improvements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Management Accountant

A strong self-starter

Ability to produce management accounts independently from start to finish

Strong knowledge of VAT and experience preparing VAT returns

Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Available immediately or at short notice

Desirable Experience

Previous experience within a Media, Advertising, Publishing, Entertainment, Broadcasting, or Creative business

Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365
