Management Accountant

JMF Associates is partnering with a multi-site retailer that is looking for a Management Accountant with experience in accountancy practice to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, and working in a small finance team, the Management Accountant will:

Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reporting

Perform balance sheet reconciliations

Accurals, prepayments, and posting journals

Engage with auditors during the annual audit

Act as a business partner to key non-finance stakeholders

This role will suit a candidate who is

Accountancy practice trained, but also has worked in commerce

Possesses at least 5 years of management accounting experience

Experienced in working with companies that are stock-based

Possesses strong management and financial accounting skills.

Worked with SME businesses

Has excellent communication skills
