Management Accountant
Location: Central London (Piccadilly / Oxford Circus)
Salary: £50,000–£60,000
Working Pattern: Full-time, 4 days per week in the office
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a successful, independent business operating across PR, media, entertainment and events.
With a close-knit team of around 12 employees, supported by a network of freelancers, the company offers a genuinely friendly, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture. This is a hands-on role within a non-corporate environment, where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact and work closely with senior leadership.
The business has ambitious growth plans over the coming years, creating excellent opportunities for career progression as the finance function develops. You'll manage one direct report and play a key role in providing financial insight across a varied portfolio of businesses and projects.
About the Business
The company operates across PR, publishing, hospitality, film production and live events, delivering high-profile projects and partnerships in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting.
Deliver financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.
Oversee day-to-day finance operations and manage one direct report.
Support financial planning across multiple business entities and projects.
Assist with year-end processes and liaise with external accountants.
Monitor profitability and provide insights to support business growth.
Improve financial processes and controls as the business continues to scale.
Provide financial support across the wider business and senior leadership team where required.
About You
You'll be a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Experience producing monthly management accounts.
Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
Previous experience within an SME or owner-managed business.
The confidence to partner with senior stakeholders.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience managing or mentoring junior finance staff is desirable.
