Management Accountant | Irlam | £50,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)

The Opportunity

If you are a hands-on, self motivated and experienced Management Accountant seeking an interesting new challenge we would welcome the chance to speak.

You are joining a growing and ambitious SME based near Irlam, Greater Manchester. Working with a professional and approachable FD your role will encompass all aspects of financial reporting / management accounting / board level MI prep for the business.

You’ll be someone methodical, diligent and proud of your natural attention to detail. There’s plenty of autonomy – a chance to implement new processes and procedures, streamline systems and enhance reporting as you see fit.

You also have access to coaching and mentoring from the FD wherever required.

This is a professional business with significant growth plans and a clear strategy for expansion. It’s a job with a high degree of security and significant scope for development and career enhancement for the right candidate.

It would suit a capable and proactive management accountant who will enjoy rolling up sleeves and being part of the journey. It’s busy and there is plenty to do but work life balance is sensible (no overtime commitments / late nights at month end etc).

Required

Experience at management accountant level within a reasonably complex SME or larger division / business.

Clear examples of adding value and making improvements in your current role.

Excellent IT / analytical skills.

A proactive approach to suggesting and implementing better controls / enhanced reporting.

A positive team player with confident communication skills.
