Contract Type: Fixed-Term (3 Months: July – September) Location: Hybrid – London and Remote Daily rate: INSIDE IR35 £400 per day
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in business change, process improvement, and technology delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful business and technology initiatives, helping to identify business needs, analyse processes, and shape practical solutions that deliver measurable value.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will gather and document requirements, map current and future-state processes, and support the implementation of business improvements. Acting as a key link between business teams and technical delivery functions, you will help ensure that solutions align with operational requirements and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering
Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
Produce high-quality documentation, including business cases, process maps, user stories, and requirements specifications.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather information and build consensus.
Collaborate with technical teams to define system requirements, interface needs, data flows, and integration points across business applications.
Support the delivery and implementation of business and technology change initiatives.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation activities to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role supporting business change, process improvement, or technology delivery.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, process mapping, and business documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
Confidence facilitating workshops and leading discussions to gather information and achieve stakeholder alignment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Experience using tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar business analysis and documentation platforms.
Understanding of core business analysis and IT concepts, including system lifecycles, data mapping, process automation, APIs, system integrations, and user access considerations.
Experience supporting testing activities and working closely with delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.
A degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline is desirable, or equivalent practical experience.
