Description

Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Lead the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts to meet the needs of the business stakeholders.

Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Provide financial analysis to support business decisions.

Monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Overall responsibility for producing accurate short-term and long-term cash flow projections.

Manage and mentor a junior team member within the finance department.

Profile

A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial reporting standards.

Experience in financial management within the construction industry or a similar sector.

Proven ability to manage financial processes and meet deadlines effectively.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

Job Offer

Long term interim assignment of 12 months with a September start.

Competitive day rate of £350-£450 per day (inside IR35).

Hybrid working arrangement with flexibility of 2-3 days in the office per week.

Opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director.
