Interim Finance Manager

Interim Finance Manager Harlow, Essex 8 Week+ Temporary Assignment £250-£325 per day 4 days in office

We're delighted to be supporting a well-established business in the search for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join them on an initial 8-week assignment.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function through a busy period, taking ownership of budgeting activity whilst providing hands-on financial support across the wider business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively, can quickly add value, and is confident operating within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the budgeting and forecasting process across the business.

Work closely with the Finance Director, providing financial insight and day-to-day support.

Assist with management reporting and financial analysis.

Review financial performance, highlighting trends and variances.

Support month-end activities where required.

Help improve financial processes and reporting where opportunities arise.

Liaise with budget holders and operational teams to provide commercial financial support.

Undertake ad hoc finance projects as required during the assignment.

About You

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) preferred.

Previous experience working as a Finance Manager or within a similar hands-on finance role.

Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.

Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and non-finance colleagues.

Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Strong Excel skills and comfortable working across multiple priorities.

Available to start at short notice.
