As Hygiene Manager at our bakery, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting a 24/7 food manufacturing operation, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene excellence across a site producing premium oat bakes, shortbread products, and own-label products for some of the UK's most recognised retailers and foodservice brands.
You'll join a well-established manufacturing site employing approximately 150–250 colleagues, where quality, food safety, and continuous improvement are central to everything we do. Supported by a dedicated hygiene function consisting of a small leadership team and specialist contractors, you'll have the opportunity to influence site culture, drive standards, and make a visible impact on operational excellence.
Working Monday to Friday on a flexible 37.5-hour week, with start times between 6:00am and 9:00am, this role offers an excellent work-life balance while still providing the challenge and visibility of supporting a busy FMCG manufacturing environment operating around the clock.

Your Role in Creating Quality Bakes

The Key Ingredients
Experience within hygiene, technical, food safety, or quality functions in a food manufacturing, FMCG, or similarly regulated environment.
A strong passion for hygiene excellence, food safety, and maintaining the highest operational standards.
Knowledge of food manufacturing environments operating to recognised industry and customer standards.
Relevant qualifications within food safety, hygiene, or health and safety would be beneficial.
Strong leadership qualities, commercial awareness, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
