Job Description

Our client is seeking a proactive and approachable HR Manager who will support the teams across the business. Playing a key role in shaping HR strategy, driving people initiatives, and fostering a positive and transparent working environment.

As HR Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the HR department and act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and department managers. You’ll take responsibility for the full employee lifecycle, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Lead on the development and implementation of the company’s HR strategy.

Oversee all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll coordination, and performance management.

Maintain accurate and detailed HR records to support clarity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Analyse HR data and prepare reports on areas such as turnover, attendance, and employee relations.

Promote and implement new ideas and process improvements.

Stay up to date with changes in employment legislation and HR best practice.

Support managers with policy understanding, employee relations, and day-to-day people matters.

Contribute to a positive, harmonious working environment across the business.

Represent the company at external events and promote a professional employer brand.

Provide line management to HR Assistants where required.

Use available IT systems and tools effectively.

Skills & Experience

Degree in Human Resources or a business-related field.

CIPD Level 5 qualification (minimum).

Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Approachable and confident communicator.

Ability to prioritise and manage workload.

Calm and professional under pressure.

Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-focused.

Previous management or leadership experience.

Background in HR within a commercial environment.
