HR Business Partner
Contract: 6 months
Location: Hybrid - Leeds and York
Rate: Band 8A
We are currently supporting an NHS organisation in recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support across a diverse service area.
Working closely with senior leaders, this role will play a key part in delivering workforce priorities, supporting organisational change, and ensuring the provision of high-quality people focused services. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on a range of complex employee relations and workforce matters while helping to drive engagement, organisational development, and service improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver workforce strategies and people plans.
Provide expert advice on complex and high-risk employee relations matters.
Lead and support organisational change, transformation, and workforce redesign projects.
Analyse workforce data and trends to inform decision-making and improve service delivery.
Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
Promote employee engagement and help implement organisation-wide people programmes.
Lead on HR aspects of service reviews, restructures, consultations, and TUPE processes where required.
Develop and deliver management training, guidance, and best practice initiatives.
Contribute to policy development and wider HR improvement projects.
Coach and support managers in managing people-related challenges effectively.
Candidate Profile
Chartered CIPD qualified or equivalent.
Significant experience operating at HR Business Partner level within a large and complex organisation.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases and organisational change programmes.
Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience using workforce data and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
