We are currently working with our Public Sector client (based in Wakefield) to recruit HR Advisors on a 6-7 months fixed term contract basis.
You will be working for a forward-looking, ambitious organisation committed to being an exemplar within the health services community of the Yorkshire region and nationally.
As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for providing full support to the Senior HR Team assisting and supporting apprentices, work placements or temporary agency staff as appropriate.
Role Information
-Flexible hybrid working
-37.5 hours per week
• To support on reducing sickness absence through active management of cases including short-term & long-term sickness
• To manage a case load of investigations and employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, and support managers in performance management issues
• To ensure the provision of advice to all managers within the Trust regarding all aspects of employment procedure for all categories of staff, as well as associated post-employment issues.
• To support the Senior HR Advisor on meeting the Trust’s key performance indicators which relate to case work including sickness absence
• Seek guidance from the Senior HR Advisor where required
• Work on own initiative and prioritise own workload and ensure key performance indicators and service level agreements are met as agreed with the Senior HR Advisor
• Contributing towards and supporting ongoing project work
