Your new role Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering a proactive and commercially focused HR advisory service across the business. This is a varied generalist position, providing advice and support on the full employee life cycle while ensuring HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation are applied consistently and effectively.You'll build strong relationships with managers across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor on a wide range of people matters and helping to drive best practice throughout the business. Key Responsibilities
Provide professional and pragmatic HR advice to managers and employees on a broad range of employee relations matters.
Coach and support managers on HR policies, procedures, and people management best practice.
Manage and advise on disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, and flexible working cases.
Support the recruitment process, including guidance on hiring best practice and onboarding activities.
Assist managers with performance management, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure HR processes and documentation remain compliant with employment legislation and GDPR requirements.
Maintain accurate employee records and produce HR-related correspondence where required.
Support organisational change initiatives and wider people projects.
Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced service delivery.
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, and people-focused initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced HR professional with strong generalist HR knowledge and a genuine passion for delivering a high-quality people service. You'll also have:
CIPD qualification (or equivalent professional HR qualification).
Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR position.
Experience working within a professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Proven experience supporting employee relations casework.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to build strong relationships and influence managers at all levels.
A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
