HR Advisor - Transactional Location: Hounslow (Hybrid Working) Rate: £17.09 PAYE / £22.65 Umbrella Contract: 3 Months Department: People & Organisational Development Team: Transactional & People Support Join a People Team That Puts People First We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused HR Advisor - Transactional to join our Transactional and People Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality HR administration and first-line people support across a busy and dynamic organisation.
The successful candidate will support a wide range of employee lifecycle activities, provide first-line HR advice, and ensure HR transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with organisational policies and statutory requirements.
Experience using iTrent and/or previous HR transactional or first-line HR advisory experience would be highly advantageous.
This is a hybrid role, with attendance at Hounslow House two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday, with flexibility around the second office day where required). Key Responsibilities As HR Advisor - Transactional, you will:
Manage employee lifecycle transactions from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Process appointments, contract changes, payroll-impacting transactions, leavers, restructures and organisational changes.
Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees.
Investigate and resolve payroll, contractual and HR system discrepancies.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with audit and statutory requirements.
Support organisational change activity, establishment management and post management processes.
Liaise effectively with managers, payroll providers and key stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor transactional activity and identify opportunities for service improvements.
Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the People function.
About You We're looking for someone who can combine excellent administration skills with strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle administration and HR transactional processes.
Experience working with HR systems, ideally iTrent.
Understanding of payroll-related HR processes and compliance requirements.
The ability to manage a varied and busy workload while meeting competing deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling contractual and payroll-related changes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve issues effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and service excellence.
