A leading UK manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Digital to lead and develop its digital capability across a multi-site operation.

Reporting to the Director of Business Excellence, this strategic leadership role will be responsible for ERP, IT, Digital Solutions, Data & Analytics, Automation and AI, with a particular focus on maximising the value of ERP systems to drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement and business performance.

This is a highly visible role, requiring regular engagement with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, identify opportunities and deliver technology solutions that support long-term growth.

You will lead the organisation's digital strategy and technology roadmap, ensuring systems, data and digital solutions are aligned to business objectives and delivering measurable value.

Key responsibilities include

Defining and delivering the digital and ERP strategy.

Leading the ongoing optimisation, development and governance of ERP and business-critical systems.

Driving digital transformation, automation and process improvement initiatives.

Developing data, analytics and AI capabilities across the organisation.

Ensuring technology platforms remain secure, resilient and scalable.

Managing strategic technology projects, suppliers and investment plans.

Leading and developing a high-performing Digital team.

Acting as a trusted technology advisor to senior stakeholders across multiple sites.

Experience needed

Senior leadership experience within ERP, IT, Digital or Technology functions.

A strong track record of delivering ERP transformation, optimisation and business change programmes.

Experience managing business-critical systems within a multi-site environment.

Strong programme, project and change management expertise.

Knowledge of data, analytics, automation, AI and cybersecurity.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

A commercial mindset with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
