Group Accountant

I'm working with an established and growing business in Central London that is looking to appoint a Group Accountant to join its high-performing finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys technical accounting, group reporting and working closely with senior stakeholders. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting while supporting a range of business-critical projects. The Role As Group Accountant, you'll be responsible for:

Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and group reporting.

Producing statutory financial statements and supporting the year-end audit process.

Managing intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities.

Supporting the month-end and year-end close.

Ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.

Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

Working closely with senior finance leaders on ad hoc projects and business initiatives.

About You You'll ideally have:

ACA, audit background preferred.

Experience in a Group Accountant, Financial Accountant or Audit position.

Strong technical accounting knowledge.

Excellent Excel skills and experience working with finance systems.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
