This isn't a script-reading, box-ticking phone job. Our client, a growing tech business, wants someone who can pick up the phone, hold a genuine conversation, and actually explain what the business does in a way that makes people want to keep talking. A real conversation, with someone bright enough to think on their feet.
This role will entail
Calling and engaging new prospects, explaining the product/service clearly and confidently, no reading from a script
Qualifying interest and booking meetings for the sales team, not just chasing call volume
Building rapport quickly, asking good questions, listening, adapting your approach to whoever's on the other end of the line
Logging activity and conversations properly in the CRM so nothing gets lost
Learning the market and the product in real depth, not just enough to get through a call
A degree, or equivalent skills and experience gained through work, this is about communication ability, not where or whether you studied
6 months to 2 years in a client-facing, phone-based, or commercial role and a flair for business development
Genuinely articulate, able to hold a confident, conversation with someone senior individuals
Curious and engaging
