Graduate Business Development Executive

Our client is currently recruiting for a Graduate Business Development Executive, working two days per week in their glossy offices based in Birmingham city centre!

This role is to join a leading tech provider recognised for their collaborative culture, innovation, and commitment to professional growth, joining their Information Security Team, providing operational support.

Key responsibilities

Business Development Executive

Generate new business through outbound calls, campaigns, and marketing leads and pitch innovative products.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships with existing and potential suppliers.

Identify customer needs and recommend the right products and solutions.

Upsell and cross-sell SaaS products to existing customers and free users.

Negotiate rates and agreements to secure supplier participation.

Identify sales opportunities and convert conversations into successful deals.

Handle and overcome objections confidently to move prospects through the sales process.

Follow up with prospects and arrange call-backs to maximise opportunities.

Keep CRM records up to date with customer notes, interactions, and next steps.

Work closely with the SRM and Marketing teams to follow up on campaigns and supplier enquiries.
