Finance Manager

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance or Accounts Manager to join their team within the education sector.

Main responsibilities

Maintaining strong financial processes and supporting the Bursar in key financial functions

Preparing monthly management accounts

Prepare weekly supplier payment schedules, bank reconciliations, annual budget preparations, order processing, purchase orders, petty cash

Follow up on outstanding payments / fees, insurance renewals & lease agreements

Handle staff expenses and reimbursements

Requirements

Accounting qualification preferred (Qualified or part-qualified)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is essential

Strong finance background, preferably with an accounting qualification, and be confident in financial process implementation

Strong financial acumen with exceptional attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organised with strong administrative skills
