Finance Manager

RG Consultancy are looking to recruit a knowledgeable Finance Manger to join a successful manufacturing company based in Ellesmere port. Reporting directly to the FD, this is a brilliant opportunity for an ACCA/ CIMA part/ qualified candidate to join an established company and grow their career.

Skills

Oversee the full day to day finance function

Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.

Managing budgets, forecasts and cash flow.

Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.

Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.

Managing month-end and year-end processes.

Preparation of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.

Monitoring financial performance and providing meaningful analysis to senior management.

Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

Supporting and developing members of the finance team.

Working closely with directors and senior management on financial and commercial matters.

Managing an existing team of 6 within finance

The ideal candidate

At least 2 years' experience within a similar senior finance position

CIMA, ACCA qualified/ part - qualified is preferred

Commercially aware with a strong analytical mindset
