Finance Manager / Revenue Accountant

Location: Holborn, London (3 days per week in the office) Contract: Temporary (3-6 months) Salary: £18.00 - £23.00 per hour Start Date: Immediate / Next Week

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager or Revenue Accountant to join their team on an interim basis. This role will play a key part in supporting revenue operations, billing processes, reconciliations, and finance administration during a busy period.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on finance professional with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of data in a fast-paced environment. Previous people management experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Managing client revenue reconciliation processes.

Performing billing reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.

Supporting contract onboarding and finance-related administration.

Reviewing and analysing revenue data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Producing and maintaining financial reports.

Supporting month-end activities and P&L reporting.

Managing large volumes of financial and operational data.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business to resolve queries.

Leading, coaching, and supporting members of the finance team.

Ensuring high levels of accuracy across billing and revenue processes.

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Revenue Accountant, Billing Manager, or similar.

Previous experience managing or supervising team members.

Strong understanding of revenue accounting, billing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Good understanding of P&L reporting.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Advanced Excel skills, including

Pivot Tables

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

Data analysis and reporting

Experience handling large volumes of financial data.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A professional, personable, and collaborative approach.

Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) candidates are welcomed.

Qualified by experience candidates will also be considered.
