Reporting into senior leadership this is a broad and hands on SME role offering responsibility across financial management, reporting and commercial support.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the finance function operates effectively while providing meaningful financial insight to aid decision making.
The position would be well suited to an Finance Manager who can take ownership of the day to day finance function whilst leading a small team, providing accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and partnering with operational teams to support business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial reports.
Lead the budgeting process, cash flow forecasting and ongoing financial planning.
Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Produce financial analysis and commercial insight to support business performance and strategic decision making.
Oversee the day-to-day finance function, providing guidance and support to finance team members where required.
Build effective relationships with operational managers to provide financial support across the business.
Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, banking partners and professional advisers.
Support continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance position within an SME environment.
Could be well suited to an finalist or newly qualified accountant
Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
Good understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements.
Commercially minded with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information clearly.
Package & Working Pattern Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Based in south bradford with flexible working options available
