Finance Manager

3 Point Recruitment are hiring a Finance Manager for a profitable, ambitious & reputable SME based near Alcester.

Reporting into the SLT, you will be the go-to person within the business for Finance matter & working closely with the external Accountancy Firm at year-end & during audit. You’ll tighten reporting, control & give running commentary to the Directors, providing clear insight & reports. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys pace, autonomy and being close to commercial decision making.

The business wants an experienced Finance leader who ideally is formally Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) but candidates who are QBE will also be considered if they have the relevant experience.

Duties Will Include

Lead monthly management accounts with accurate, timely reporting and clear commentary

Maintain strong balance sheet control and improve processes across the function

Partner with operational teams to provide useful insight and commercial support

Oversee cashflow, working capital, debtors/creditors and daily financial discipline

Manage and develop the Finance team, creating clarity, ownership and high standards

Support budgeting and forecasting with meaningful variance analysis

Take responsibility for VAT returns and ensure ledgers, payments and credit control run smoothly

Oversee stock, margin and payroll administration

Improve systems, reporting and workflows as the business scales

Help build a proactive, commercially focused Finance function
