Finance Business Partner

Our client, is delivering an ambitious finance transformation programme and needs an experienced accountant to lead the change while keeping business-as-usual running smoothly. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on role for someone who can redesign processes and manage a change of systems just as confidently as they prepare journals and reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

Lead a review of end-to-end finance processes, simplifying and standardising where possible

Manage the transition to fuller use of existing finance systems, including supporting implementation and user acceptance testing

Improve financial controls, reduce manual spreadsheets and remove single points of failure

Strengthen BAU delivery — monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and journal preparation — improving accuracy, consistency and turnaround

Document robust finance procedures and produce clear process maps to embed change for the long term

What we're looking for

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong management accounting background

Proven experience delivering finance transformation and managing systems change

Comfortable working independently in a changing environment, building relationships quickly
