An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation. This role will play a key part in partnering with senior operational leaders, providing commercial insight and financial support to drive performance across the business.
Working closely with a range of non-finance stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, challenging business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust planning, reporting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary finance business partner to senior operational stakeholders, providing commercial support and constructive challenge.
Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve revenue, profitability and operational efficiency.
Take ownership of monthly management reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is delivered to the leadership team.
Lead the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
Monitor gross margin and profitability, providing recommendations to optimise commercial performance.
Produce meaningful financial models, business cases and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
Drive improvements across reporting, financial processes and controls, helping to increase efficiency and data quality.
Support wider finance projects and contribute to the continuous development of commercial finance capabilities across the organisation.
About You
Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
Demonstrable experience operating within a commercially focused finance business partnering role.
Strong understanding of P&L performance, margin analysis and the commercial drivers behind business profitability.
Proven ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with senior operational stakeholders.
Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes within a dynamic business environment.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets and present complex financial information in a clear, concise manner.
Naturally proactive with a continuous improvement mindset and a track record of enhancing reporting, processes and decision-making.
