Finance Business Partner

Location: Manchester Salary: £50,000 - £60,000, plus additional benefits Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a growing and innovative technology company based in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a fast-paced business and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Finance Director and senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide financial insight, challenge and analysis to drive business performance and support continued growth. Whilst the role offers some flexibility to work remotely, the successful candidate will be expected to spend the majority of their time on site to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide commercial finance support and strategic insight

Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts

Deliver financial analysis, KPI reporting and variance analysis to support business performance

Provide commercial insight to influence strategic decision-making

Develop financial models, business cases and investment appraisals

Support long-term financial planning and budgeting processes

Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, controls and processes

Work closely with operational teams to identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency

Support strategic projects and business growth initiatives

About You

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercially focused Management Accountant role

Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel experience

Experience within the technology sector or another fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageous

Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable influencing decision-making at all levels
