Commercial Finance Business Partner

Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business that has doubled in size for three consecutive years. With a current turnover of approximately £20 million, our client is looking for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting continued growth.

This isn't a traditional finance position. They are looking for someone commercially minded who can partner with the wider business, use data to support decision-making and help drive future performance.

The Role

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll provide financial insight and analysis that supports business growth and strategic investment.

Key responsibilities include

Business partnering with operational and commercial teams

Producing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions

Developing financial models and forecasting future performance

Analysing investment opportunities and providing data-led recommendations

Identifying commercial risks while presenting practical solutions

Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting

Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies

Using AI and modern technology to improve reporting, analysis and productivity

Presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way

Supporting the continued growth and scalability of the finance function

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving business and can see the bigger commercial picture.

You will ideally have

ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, Qualified by Experience (QBE) or be a strong Part Qualified Accountant

Previous experience within a growing or scaling business

Strong commercial awareness

Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills

Confidence challenging and influencing stakeholders

The ability to balance commercial opportunity with financial risk

A positive, solutions-focused approach

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong Excel skills with experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools advantageous

An interest in AI and how emerging technology can improve finance processes

What's on Offer

Salary between £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
