Finance Business Partner (FP&A) / Warrington (Hybrid) / Salary £50,000 - £60,000

Accountable Recruitment are working exclusively with our client who are a well-established and growing organisation in Warrington. They look to appoint a Finance Business Partner to strengthen their commercial finance function.

This role would particularly suit a qualified accountant coming from a larger corporate environment who is looking for broader exposure, greater visibility, and the opportunity to have a genuine impact on business performance.

Working within a small high-performing team, you'll partner closely with both finance and operational stakeholders, providing the insight and analysis that supports strategic decision-making. The role offers excellent exposure to senior leadership, including regular interaction with the CFO, making it an ideal next step for someone looking to accelerate their career in commercial finance.

The Opportunity

This is a forward-looking finance role focused on delivering meaningful insight. You'll help shape business decisions through robust analysis, planning and forecasting, while developing strong relationships across the wider organisation.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to strategic projects, commercial decision-making and business transformation initiatives, making this a fantastic platform for long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities

Support the annual budget, forecast and long-range planning processes.

Partner with business development and operational teams to support commercial tendering, pricing and investment decisions.

Produce insightful management reporting and performance analysis for senior stakeholders.

Prepare board-level reporting packs and executive presentations.

Analyse revenue, profitability, operating costs and key performance indicators.

Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.

Provide variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast and prior year performance.

Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand performance trends and identify improvement opportunities.

Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.

Enhance reporting capabilities through improved dashboards, data visualisation and automation.

Assist with commercial business cases and investment appraisals.

Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects as required.

We're looking for an ambitious finance professional who is eager to develop their business partnering capabilities and build a career within commercial finance.

Kay skills

Qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant.

Experience within a large corporate organisation with strong analytical skills

Able to interpret large volumes of data, with strong Excel skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.

Commercially minded with a desire to understand the operational drivers of performance.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proactive, inquisitive and solutions-focused approach.

Desirable

Previous experience within FP&A, commercial finance or management accounting.

Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.

Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools.

Financial modelling experience.
