Job Description
Three Bridges Recruitment are working with a well-established organisation, East of Edinburgh city centre, to recruit a Finance Assistant. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their finance career who wants to build strong, hands-on experience within a supportive finance team.
The role would suit someone with around 1–2 years’ experience in finance, accounts or administration, or someone looking to begin AAT study and develop into a broader finance role over time. You will gain exposure across Accounts Payable, cashiering, credit control, payment support and finance queries, while also working closely with customers & stakeholders.

The Job
As Finance Assistant, you will be involved in
Supporting day-to-day finance administration
Processing supplier invoices and supporting Accounts Payable activity
Assisting with cashiering duties and payment processing
Supporting credit control activity
Managing finance queries from customers, colleagues and external stakeholders
Helping with payment support and outstanding balance queries
Using finance and CRM systems to check account details, payment status and outstanding amounts
Maintaining accurate finance records
Working closely with the wider finance team to provide a smooth and professional service
You
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have
Some experience in finance, accounts or administration
Some exposure to Accounts Payable, cashiering, credit control or payment processing
Strong administrative skills and good attention to detail
Confidence dealing with customer or stakeholder queries
Good communication skills and a helpful, professional approach
Confidence using systems and handling financial information
A willingness to learn and develop within a finance team
