Client Details
Our client is a successful and ambitious distribution company based in Runcorn that is continuing to grow and invest in its people. They are looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join their friendly finance team on a permanent basis.

Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring financial information is processed accurately and efficiently.
Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions.
Reconciling supplier and customer accounts.
Assisting with bank reconciliations.
Preparing payment runs.
Supporting credit control activities where required.
Processing employee expenses.
Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting.
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
Providing general support to the wider finance team.
Profile
Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience using accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a busy team.
A desire to continue learning and develop a long-term career in finance.
