Enterprise Software Engineer

As an Enterprise Software Engineer, you will build impactful enterprise software used across a leading investment environment, working with modern technologies, complex challenges, and clear opportunities for career growth.
Design, build, and maintain enterprise software applications that support key business functions.
Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions using modern engineering practices.
Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Own projects throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.
Work with engineers across multiple teams to solve complex technical challenges.
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of software architecture, performance, and reliability.
Help drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve systems and development processes
The successful Enterprise Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
Strong commercial experience developing production-grade software using Python.
Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#.
Experience designing and delivering scalable enterprise applications.
Good understanding of SQL databases and data management principles.
Knowledge of financial markets or experience working with financial products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in a regulated or financial services environment is advantageous.
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or practices would be beneficial.
Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Salary up to £100,000 - depending on experience
