The Role
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a varied role that combines customer service, administration, and coordination responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer support. Key responsibilities include:
Managing customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels.
Providing accurate information on products and services.
Processing customer orders and quotations.
Maintaining and updating customer records on internal systems.
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.
Monitoring order progress and keeping customers informed throughout the process.
Supporting customer retention through excellent service and proactive communication.
Updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
Preparing documentation, reports, and general administrative paperwork.
Providing administrative support to the wider team as required.
About You
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive, positive, and customer-focused approach.
Confidence working independently as well as part of a team.
Experience within a technical, manufacturing, industrial, or trade environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
