Credit Controller

Based on the outskirts of Falkirk, our client is recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team within a business that places a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing and development. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am-4pm, and there is flexibility with the start and finish times.

Your new role

Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring payments are collected in a timely manner and strong working relationships are maintained across both customers and internal stakeholders.Key responsibilities will include: Managing outstanding debt and collecting overdue balances Allocations Reconciling accounts and resolving account discrepancies Producing statements Handling and resolving invoice queries Monitoring credit limits Liaising with different internal teams to resolve issues Producing reports and supporting month-end reporting requirements

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have previous experience working within a credit control environment. This opportunity could also be suitable for a Finance Assistant/ Finance Administrator who is keen to look at diverse role focused on accounts receivable and credit control duties. You will also demonstrate:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Experience using ERP systems, with SAP experience advantageous
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
• HND qualification in Business, Accounting or a related discipline would be beneficial
