Commercial Finance Manager

This is a high-profile, commercially focused role supporting the continued growth and profitability of the business's online channels. You will act as a key financial partner to senior operational and commercial stakeholders, providing insight, challenge and recommendations that directly influence business performance. As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the financial performance of multiple online channels, driving robust reporting, planning and commercial decision-making.

Description

Provide financial analysis and challenge to drive profitability and maximise performance.

Analyse promotional performance, pricing and operational efficiencies.

Lead budgeting and forecasting across the online channels.

Present financial performance, insights and recommendations to senior executives.

Produce accurate P&L, sales and margin reporting with clear performance commentary.

Identify risks and opportunities and translate complex data into actionable insight.

Drive the centralisation of financial controls and reporting.

Lead process improvements to create a more efficient and scalable finance function.

Profile

Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles, especially within the retail industry.

Proven experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into meaningful insight.

Confidence challenging senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information.

A proactive, hands-on approach with strong ownership and accountability.

Experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
