Our client is a well-established, innovation-led business in the pharmaceutical and nutritional healthcare space, with a strong international footprint and a reputation for long-term product development and commercial performance.
I am supporting them with the hire of a Commercial Analyst to strengthen forecasting, distributor performance analysis, and commercial decision support across global markets. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insight.
Role: Commercial Analyst | Location: North West London (NW2) - hybrid (3 days office, 2 from home) | Type: Permanent | Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) Key responsibilities include
Produce monthly outturn forecasts from export orders and maintain visibility of the rolling 4-month order book
Identify supply chain risks, delays and stock issues, escalating where appropriate
Analyse distributor sales-in and sales-out to spot trends, performance drivers and opportunities
Build and improve reporting/processes to measure and evaluate campaign performance (working with International Marketing leadership)
Support commercial projects including pricing reviews, new market assessments and distributor incentive programmes
Review distributor project briefs, assess commercial viability and provide clear recommendations
Coordinate product availability, lead times and shipment status through accurate internal communication and cross-checking
Key skills and experience required
Degree educated (ideally Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or similar)
Proven experience in a fast-moving, commercial and externally-facing analyst role
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insight into commercial actions
Advanced Excel (highly beneficial)
ERP experience (SAP or similar)
Understanding of statistical methods, analytical techniques, and basic finance/budgeting
Strong attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving
Comfortable working across international markets and cultures
Project management experience is advantageous
