Supervising and reviewing the work of junior and semi-senior team members, providing guidance and supporting their development
Managing a portfolio of business services clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of accounts, management accounts, and related compliance work
Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and delivering a consistently high standard of service
Assisting with workflow planning, workload allocation, and the smooth running of the business services team
Supporting managers and partners with ad hoc projects, technical queries, and business development activity
Requirements
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
ACA, ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with a solid grounding in accounts preparation and business services work
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and cloud-based accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels
A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced practice environment
