A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified Business Services Senior to take ownership of accounts assignments across a varied client portfolio.

The client base is broad and well established, giving exposure to a range of business types and sizes, and the team is experienced, collaborative and invested in developing its people. Crowe Watson Recruitment has a strong track record across the Bristol accountancy market.

What's the day to day of the role

Preparing and reviewing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients

Assisting managers and partners on more complex assignments and technical matters

Acting as a reliable point of contact for clients and handling queries confidently

Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns as required

Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team

Required skills and qualifications

ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified, with a solid accounts preparation background

At least three years' experience within a UK Practice environment

Proven experience preparing accounts for a range of client types to a high standard

Good working knowledge of accountancy software

Professional client facing manner, well organised, with the ambition to progress in practice
