Business Development Manager Covering London, Essex & Kent
Location: Remote/Field based with occasional travel to client sites and travel to the Head office twice per month (East M4 corridor)
Salary: £40,000–£43,000 basic + commission, OTE £75,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a growing services business and help drive new business growth. This is a great opportunity for a proactive sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing opportunities, and closing deals.
The role
You will focus on generating new business, managing inbound enquiries, and converting opportunities into long-term contracts. Working closely with internal teams, you will help ensure smooth onboarding and successful handover from sale through to delivery.
Key responsibilities
Prospect and develop new business opportunities.
Qualify inbound leads and book client meetings.
Carry out site visits, assess requirements, and prepare tailored quotes.
Manage the sales process from initial contact through to close.
Handle objections, negotiate pricing, and maximise sales opportunities.
Work collaboratively with operations to support successful contract mobilisation.
Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity
About you
Proven background in direct sales and business development.
Experience selling services, ideally in a B2B environment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Confident managing a pipeline and closing deals.
Self-motivated, tenacious, and comfortable working independently.
Experience in facilities management, cleaning, education, or healthcare would be an advantage.
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
