Kent | £40k–£45k + Uncapped Commission

I’m working with a £26m turnover drainage business with major contracts already in place (including hospitals), now looking for a driven BDM to grow new business across FM, property, healthcare, education and hospitality.
Location: Kent / South East (Office-Based but hybrid after 6 months)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Attractive Commission (Uncapped)
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
The Opportunity
The right person will be a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager who thrives in a role that they can completely make their own. This is an exciting opportunity to build a pipeline from scratch and directly impact business growth with career progression as the business grows.
The Role
- Proactively identify and win new business across commercial sectors
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and self-sourced activity
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Develop relationships with facilities managers, property companies, contractors, and commercial clients
- Conduct site visits and client meetings
- Work closely with the Director to shape sales strategy and growth
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ B2B sales experience within drainage or a related sector
- Proven track record of winning new business and growing revenue
- Strong experience in cold calling and outbound sales
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a less structured environment
Desirable
- Existing network within construction, FM or property sectors
- Experience working within an SME or growing business
