Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join a market leading Professional Services company going through an exciting period of growth based in Avonmouth. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
£35,000 - £40,000 plus study support package for CIMA/ACCA and wider benefits
Assist with journal postings (accruals, prepayments, adjustments)
Help prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
Gather data, prepare schedules, and assist with financial forecasts and annual budgets
Analyse variances and provide initial commentary for review
Produce reports and KPIs for management review
Analyse costs, margins, and performance trends to support decision-making
Perform reconciliations of key accounts (bank, control accounts, intercompany, etc)
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information
Support improvements in financial processes, systems, and internal controls
Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks, audits, and project-based work
Support Sales & Purchase Ledger
Support with expenses & credit cards
Assist with Annual Audit
Assist in Treasury Management
Business Partner with Contract Managers & Regional Managers
Minimum AAT qualified aspiring to complete CIMA/ACCA
Currently working in a role with month end responsibility
IT literate with the ability to use a range of different systems and be an Intermediate to Advanced user of Excel
Ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial colleagues and managers whilst being a proactive and self-motivated member of the finance team
Clear and precise communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
