Job Description
Our client is an SME wholesale company based in Newton-Le-Willows, who are looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis. This role reports to the Finance manager and comes with future progression for someone ambitious wanting to progress with an SME.

The role
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and cost analysis
Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals and pre-payments
Maintenance and control of the fixed assets register.
Preparation of VAT returns
Systems interface / complex account reconciliation
Overseeing the bank reconciliations and accounts payable
Liaising with the external auditors throughout the audit process
Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties
