Assistant Management Accountant Harrogate | Hybrid Working | Study Support Available

A growing and well-established UK business is looking to appoint an ambitious finance professional to join its expanding finance team. Operating within a fast-paced and evolving environment, the business delivers specialist services to a large customer base across the UK and offers excellent long-term career development opportunities.

This role will suit someone looking to develop strong commercial finance experience while studying towards ACCA/CIMA (study support available following probation/training period if desired).

Key responsibilities will include

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Ensuring costs are accurately allocated and coded across customer contracts
• Preparing accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing financial analysis and supporting ad hoc projects
• Building relationships with wider teams including Accounts Payable and Billing
• Assisting with process improvement and maintaining financial accuracy across reporting areas

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent Excel capability and the confidence to work with large data sets. You will be detail-oriented, commercially aware and able to manage deadlines effectively within a busy finance environment.

Working hours are Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm and Friday 9:00am – 3:30pm.
