Assistant Management Accountant

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a 6-month temporary basis, supporting the day-to-day finance function within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Working closely with the CFO and wider finance team, this role will offer broad exposure across Month-end duties, Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.

Key Duties: Supporting management accounts preparation, including P&L reporting • Assisting with month-end duties including accruals, prepayments, and journals • Resolving account discrepancies and finance queries • Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple client accounts • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties • Processing invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses • Managing sales and purchase ledgers • Performing bank and credit card reconciliations • Preparing and submitting VAT returns

Key Skills: • Previous experience within an Assistant Management Accountant role or similar • Experience working within a Creative, Fashion, Media, or similar fast-paced environment • Experience supporting management accounts and month-end processes • Confident with bank reconciliations and VAT returns • Studying towards, or keen to study, AAT, ACCA, or CIMA • Strong communication skills and attention to detail • Ability to work to tight deadlines within a busy environment
