Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant Location: Waterloo, London Working Pattern: 3 days in the office Study Support: Full study package available

We are working with a growing multi-site business based in Waterloo to recruit a newly created Assistant Management Accountant role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who is looking to develop their management accounting experience in a hands-on, commercially focused environment. Working closely with a qualified Management Accountant, you will support the production of monthly management accounts and gain exposure to budgeting, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting and multi-site financial analysis.

The role will include

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

Preparing balance sheet reconciliations

Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes

Producing analysis and reporting across multiple sites

Investigating variances and supporting the month-end close

Working closely with operational teams and finance colleagues

Supporting process improvements as the finance function continues to grow

The ideal candidate will be

Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA

Experienced in month-end, reconciliations or management accounts support

Confident working with Excel and finance systems

Keen to develop within a fast-paced, multi-site business

Proactive, accurate and comfortable working to deadlines
