Campbell Grove Talent are on the look out for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join an established international business. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their finance career who wants broader experience and the chance to build towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification.

It's a varied role, so you'll get exposure to plenty of different areas rather than being stuck doing the same thing every day.

What you'll be doing

Supporting month-end, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.

Reviewing balance sheet accounts and investigating discrepancies.

Monitoring overheads and helping with budget and forecast reporting.

Supporting banking, payments and cash flow activities.

Reviewing employee expenses and resolving queries.

Assisting with audit requests and providing financial information.

Working with colleagues across the business to answer finance queries.

Helping improve finance processes and making better use of systems and data.

Getting involved in ad hoc finance and business improvement projects.

There's also the opportunity to work with colleagues across different functions and international locations, giving you a much broader understanding of how a finance team operates.

About you

You could already be working as an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or in a similar role, or perhaps you're looking for your next step after gaining some initial finance experience.

We're looking for someone who

Has good experience in month end duties

Is confident using Excel and working with numbers.

Has good attention to detail and enjoys solving problems.

Can manage their own workload and meet deadlines.

Communicates well with people across the business.

Is keen to learn and develop their finance career.
