Campbell Grove Talent is working with a growing accountancy firm in Elland to recruit an Accountant to join their friendly and experienced team.

What you'll do

Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Prepare VAT returns, tax returns and financial statements.

Liaise with clients to gather information, answer queries and build strong relationships.

Manage your own workload to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Support colleagues and contribute to improving processes and client service.

Identify opportunities to add value for clients and support business growth.

What we're looking for

Experience of working in Practice

AAT qualified or studying/qualified ACCA/ACA

Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax compliance.

Experience with software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks (training can be provided).

Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.

A proactive, positive approach and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
