Senior Transition Manager (Credit)
Permanent c.£70,000
Fully Remote with 50% Travel to Poland
We are looking for an experienced Senior Transition Manager to lead the successful migration of finance processes from multiple international locations into a centralised shared services environment. This is a highly visible role that requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery expertise to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end transition projects within Finance Credit operations across multiple European markets.
Collaborate with client stakeholders, finance teams, and cross-functional workstreams to deliver transition objectives.
Lead knowledge transfer activities, process mapping, documentation, and training to support operational readiness.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and process inefficiencies, implementing effective mitigation plans.
Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
Support go-live activities and post-transition stabilisation to ensure sustainable operational performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting standardisation and operational best practice.
Ensure service quality, compliance requirements, and customer expectations are upheld throughout the transition lifecycle.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrable experience delivering multiple successful finance transition projects, ideally across finance credit, within complex organisations.
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead initiatives across diverse geographical locations.
Proven stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing senior business leaders.
Background in shared services, business process outsourcing (BPO), global business services (GBS), or transformation programmes.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Additional European language skills would be advantageous.
Ability to work within fast-paced and changing environments, balancing multiple priorities while achieving project objectives.
Passion for driving process improvement, operational excellence, and long-term business value.
