Trainee Accountant

A dynamic and well-established company is seeking an organised and motivated Trainee Accountant to join its large and collaborative finance team in a varied role. The reason for this role is due to continued internal progression within the team, as the business is focused on upskilling and developing its finance professionals to support future growth. Working closely with senior members of the finance team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance activities on the Sales Ledger while gaining valuable exposure across the wider function and Management Accounts.

The role will suit someone looking to build a long-term career in accountancy within a supportive environment. Responsibilities will include assisting with sales ledger duties and credit control, liaising with the sales team, purchase ledger activities, processing invoices and payments, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reconciliations, assisting with month-end processes, and liaising with internal teams to resolve queries efficiently, giving you exposure to all areas of transactional finance. Further duties will include assisting with financial reporting to stakeholders, alongside supporting cashflow management and forecasting activities.
