Are you a detail-driven engineering professional with a passion for turning opportunities into successful project wins? We're looking for a Tendering Engineer to play a key role in preparing competitive, accurate, and commercially sound proposals for a wide range of engineering projects.

The Role
As a Tendering Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing the tendering process from initial enquiry through to submission, ensuring all proposals meet client requirements while delivering the best possible commercial outcome.
You'll work closely with engineering, operations, procurement, and sales teams to develop high-quality solutions that balance technical excellence with commercial viability.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyse tender documentation, specifications, and client requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and technical submissions.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and gather information.
Identify project risks, opportunities, and value-engineering solutions.
Coordinate bid activities to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Support contract negotiations and project handovers following successful awards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and market trends.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a Tendering Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Estimating Engineer, or similar role.
Strong technical understanding of engineering projects and processes.
Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating/tendering software.
Organised, deadline-focused, and able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
