Create artefacts such as user stories, process diagrams, data mappings, and functional specifications

Work closely with engineers to design solutions that are practical, scalable, and aligned to business goals

Interrogate and manipulate data to support analysis, validation, and decision-making

Validate delivered solutions through testing, troubleshooting, and continuous feedback

Support system enhancements and integrations across core platforms (e.g. ERP, scheduling, inventory systems)

Maintain high-quality documentation to support delivery, knowledge sharing, and future development

Act as a key bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout delivery

Exposure to Python (or similar) for data manipulation is highly beneficial

Solid understanding of databases, data structures, and system integrations

Ability to break down complex problems and translate them into clear, structured requirements

Experience

Proven background working in manufacturing, logistics, or similarly operational environments

Experience working across full delivery lifecycles (SDLC), from discovery through to implementation

Familiarity with APIs, data formats (e.g. JSON/XML), and integration concepts

Experience with business process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean or similar)

Comfortable producing documentation such as BRDs, functional specs, and process flows

Tools & Approach

Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart

Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem solving

Able to work independently, take ownership, and operate proactively in fast-paced environments

Ways of Working This is a hands-on role within a highly collaborative team. The environment is direct, fast-paced, and focused on delivery - you'll need to be comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders, being challenged, and providing confident, well-reasoned input.

Minimum 3 days per week onsite in Chippenham

Close collaboration between technical and business teams is essential

Quick decision-making and problem resolution are part of the day-to-day

Personal Attributes

Confident communicator who can engage at all levels, including senior leadership

Comfortable challenging assumptions and pushing back where needed

Able to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Pragmatic, delivery-focused, and solutions-oriented

Naturally curious, with a desire to understand how systems and operations truly work

Nice to Have

Experience with ERP or production-related systems

Exposure to warehouse, fulfilment, or production planning processes

Background in environments with high-volume operational throughput
